No, didn't work correctly. :-) Nothing happens when I click on it, except text appears saying "Please don't steal our images!"
Anyway, 25% is still viewable. I will let you two continue to work on it. :-)

Hi folks. I'm doing okay. Lupus has been moving around all my joints making life a bit challenging. Awkward for me to do any typing, sitting, moving etc. Thanks for thinking of me. Much appreciated. Best wishes to all of you and stay safe and keep your social distance. Still it would be great to have a hug now and then. Miss those hugs!

Sending you a big internet hug. You're an inspiration to us all. Stay safe and north of the border.

Glad to hear you are doing OK, Ted. Another internet (virtual) hug from me, too. Hope the Lupus settles down soon. :-)

Ted, I always get the feeling you have a poor rheumatologist. When I see how long you've been suffering I get the impression they're not doing anything for you.
I've had my ups and downs too with episodes where I couldn't climb stairs either, but at least my rheumatologist tried different meds until they got me stable.

I have osteoarthritis, and it was Julie who put me onto magnesium oil. I have had two hip replacements but it's my lower back aches the most. A good rub with the magic brew usually puts it right. My 90 Y O mum swears by it.

Docs have been really good looking after the pain, it is just the lupus flaring up now and then and putting the kibosh on some joints. Almost a year in the hospital for the wound on my arse didn't help my walking. Took 3 months of rehab to get me back so I could use a walker. I've had ankylosing spondilitis since I was 18 so I'm accustomed to pain and stiffness by now.
Please keep your distance and wishing you all stay safe.

I created the figure in a 3D program, posed her and took a snapshot (jpg) file. Opened that in Photoshop Elements (really old program).
I picked a small brush with large spacing and did the outline of the left wing. Then worked on the pattern until it looked OK. Then copied the left wing on a new layer and distorted it so it looked slightly larger because it was closer. Then coloured the left wing, and coloured the right wing using transparency of 30%. Then shaped the shoulder blades where the wings join. Then I picked yellow and a slightly larger brush with 50% (I think) transparency and individually placed the larger dots to make it look like sunlight reflecting off the edges of the wings. Added new layers for the hair and dress.
I will remove the black background when I put in a forest or tree, and might add some flowers to her hair, or something else. And I will add a few more yellow dots that I will make flare.
The first attempt had the wrong shape of wings, and the dress was too thick/heavy, whereas this one you can still see the outline of her behind and legs. Oh, and I used a mouse for the lot, because I forgot to plug in my Wacom. :-)
