I'm a creative. Not my fault. It just turned out that way. Nothing in my jeans to make me this way. So 'the creative force is strong in this one'. We see things differently. Other people see problems, we see solutions. I raid a skip for one thing, knowing I'll turn it into something else. A blank page (on my loptap) is a story to be told. A freshly primed canvas is my next masterpiece. So! Why aren't creatives in charge of the planet? Were I an alien in space looking forlornly down on planet Earth, I'd be scratching both my heads and wondering what's going on. If all the money wasted on weapons were used to improve the lives of ALL mankind, what a fantastic world this would be. IF we weren't wasting so much fighting each other instead of making a comfortable life for everybody on the planet... Too simplistic? Perhaps. But the creative in me sees it that way. Accept we are just one people breathing the same air, with the same basic needs, wants and aspirations. So if we had more creatives in charge of things, would we be closer to the Utopian vision?

Speaking of finished paintings, I just finished up another fantasy map for author Will Hahn. He's pleased, so I am too.

Unfortunately, some of the world's creatives have come up with creative ways to make money. That's not too difficult if you lack morals and empathy. For example, you can make money by creating weapons and selling them. Better still you sell them to both sides. Better still you finance religious extremists to trigger the war in the first place and organise false flag events to encourage the extremism. The fact that millions suffer, and die is irrelevant to those who lack empathy or morals.
