I know it's early to think of plans to promote the 5th anniversary of the SWF Writers Anthology.
But I have been working on various promotional projects for my work and the works of members of my terra-firma writers group and thought it would be great to include the SWF Writers Anthology Anniversary to my list.
So, I got an idea for another joint project.
I blog about cooking (for people who can't cook) and do a lot of research into recipes, ingredients, history of terms and recipes etc.
I was surprised I could not find any cookbooks (other than Ted's) created by SWF members.
So, I thought why not create a collection of SWF Writers recipes and make a cookbook in time for the 5th anniversary of the anthology.
Unfortunately, I would need a lot of help because I do not have good photo manipulation software and that really limits my use of graphics. (My software / pc issues are too numerous to discuss here.)
Let me know what you think :-)

That sounds like an excellent idea! Have you kept up with the stats on the first anthology?

That sounds like an excellent idea! Have you kept up with the stats on the first anthology? I go to Smashwords Forum Writers on Smashwords infrequently. But, it appears there has not been much change over time, most of the downloads were probably made by the authors. The current account balance has not changed, $1.12.
But, in my mind, it's never too late to promote the SWF Anthology :-)

SWF Anthology POD?
I think it would be a good idea to post the anthology with a POD publisher.
I will attempt to communicate with the SWF Anthology writers about putting the anthology up on a POD publisher site.
While I understand, MagCloud may not be the best option but it is a possible option.

Hola SWF Writers: I went to our Smashwords Anthology account today, Overdrive bought a copy. There have been 55 sample downloads.
The account is at $2.01. There is a minimum balance needed before funds are dispersed.
At the present time, if we reach that amount, a check would be sent to me and I would give the funds to the British Columbia Humane Society. As things change, I hope to be able to have the funds sent electronically from Smashwords to the BC Humane Society.
