I'd like to add a brief video explaining my ebook or series of ebooks to the page displaying my ebook or series of ebooks to the purchasing public. Failing that I'd like to display a video on my profile page.
If anyone has done this or knows how to do it please reply as I think such a video by the author might be useful.

Ted. I suspect each platform will have their own procedures, but I have seen such videos on Zon, so I'd go to their how to people. On smash I have a video o my page but so long ago I have no idea how it was done. I'm sure my fellow writer suzy dubot had a hand in it as I have enough bother hitting the right keys on my loptap. It seems to still be there, done free via wordpress. Gary Weston profile on smash to see my version. Hope that helps. Found this on youtube and no idea how it got there. Old age I suppose. www.youtube.com/channel/UCv2krt8NYF9zTmNPgYyZY9Awww.wp101.com/tutorial/what-is-wordpress/I suppose it's then just click the upload on the specific site. Hope this helps

My video editing program can easily publish to youtube and such, but it is getting the video on a puzzle page on Smashwords itself without having to provide a link to youtube or whatever.
I found out a few minutes ago I can add a video to my Profile page. So now I just have to find out how to add a video to an ebook page so I can tell viewers a little about that ebook. I'll send Smashwords a question on this and see if they have an answer.

Smashwords responded in about 1 minute. Here's what you do: Go to Dashboard > Settings, you'll see a Status option and click on Settings. Scroll way down to the bottom of the page and on the left side you will see 'associate a video' for that book. Click on 'associate a video' and follow instructions.
