Hello Smashwordlings,
I am new to this whole world and am currently confused about what happens once one is approved for the "premium catalog."
My book was approved before Thursday (the 8th), and it has made its way to Kobo. Yay!
But it isn't on Nook or iBooks or anywhere else that I can find.
If I should just be patient, I can do that.
But I am worried that it may not get pushed through to Nook because I have already uploaded my own version of the book to the Nook website. My plan was to take my own independently uploaded version down as soon as the Smashwords version hits Nook, but now I worry that the Smashwords version (which looks better than my own) may not go through because I already have my own book up.
Does anyone know from experience if I need to do anything on my end to make sure that the Smashwords version get pushed through to Nook?
Thanks all.

It takes some time to get to all of the reseller's web sites. My most recent book turned up on Kobo just a day or two after being "shipped". My first two books, published in July, still are not on Kobo after repeated shipments. It can take from a few days to a few weeks for most resellers, and sometimes it takes months and a lot of re-shipping.

You should remove your work from the Nook library, otherwise you'll have two of the same works and that will likely get you kicked out of Nook.

Thanks for letting me know that I could run afoul of the Nook authorities. I have taken down the copy of my book on Nook and will just wait and see how long it takes the Smashwords version to get through.
Glad to have found this forum.
