I have had a problem getting my books updated at Kobo for four months. The Kobo website has only ever displayed the first release of my book.
Having finally got Smashwords to distribute my second book, after two months of pestering, I was stunned to see the draft version on sale (uploaded to sort out the meatgrinder formatting) not the latest version.
What the problem appears to be is that when distributing to Kobo, Smashwords are sending the oldest version of my books instead of the latest.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else has the same problem.

All my works on Kobo are the latest.
Uploading drafts is not a good way to see what your work will look like in various formats. If you don't Unpublish the draft work then Smashwords will distribute it.
Use Calibre instead of uploading a draft and you'll be able to correct formatting or other issues quicker and without waiting for a response from Smashwords.
If you must upload a 'draft' version in the future then Unpublish it immediately after downloading the formats you wanted for testing purposes. That way you can upload your final work without any future discovery of your 'draft' work being for sale.

Thanks for the reply Ted. I did unpublish the book straight away but that's not the problem.
I put the draft version up way back in June and I have made three updates since then. SW only distributed my book to Kobo a couple of days ago and, like I said above, SW sent the first draft copy, not the latest version.
I have been trying to get SW to sort this out for four months now. All they ever do is say they will re issue the book and the problem goes on.
I really am tearing my hair out with this one.
