One computer, but TWO different Authors

I have written two books for two different authors who are computer illiterate. Because both books came from my computer, Smashwords has assumed that the two different authors are one and the same.
So I cannot make the first book with Geoff king as the author, and the second book with Joan Facey as the author.
When I change one author, it automatically changes the other, so that both books appear to be written by the same author, which ever name I choose to nominate.
Is there a way to make these books have separate and totally different Authors.?

Did you upload them through a "publisher" account or did you create separate accounts for each book?

You either need to create a publisher account for yourself to upload for "your" authors, or you need to create totally separate accounts for each author *with different email address* for each author.
