I submitted a price reduction on one of my books at the beginning of the month. B&N has had my new release since the 17th, and it still isn't showing. Aaron at Smashwords said B&N was "experiencing a backlog." Anybody have any idea how long? I have paid advertising coming up on my new release, but it won't help if the book isn't there. I'm starting to panic a bit.

B&N support hasn't been great the past little while according to numerous threads on Linkedin. You're not the only one upset with B&N at the moment.

I'm having the same problem with B&N. I'm a newbie with self-pubbing (have several books through other publishers) and listed this book to help promo my latest release. Had no problems getting it loaded and approved and it even showed that it shipped to B&N within a week. But it's still not showing up there. *sigh* SW shows that titles usually show within a few days of shipping and it's been almost 2 weeks. Guess I'll have to keep refreshing my screen until it finally appears on B&N since my new book releases at the end of next week.

I'm canceling my advertising in the morning. I won't lose my money and can pick up another run in November. It is frustrating though. Thank you, Ted, for the heads-up on the backlog.
