I published with Smashwords in October 2011. My book successfully submitted on all other stores. Since October 2011, Smashwords claim to have submitted it 4 times on my request, it seems without success each time. It still isn't listed.
Can anyone help? Can I go direct to Sony to submit, if so how?
Thanks

Juice370, what is the title of your work on Smashwords? Can't help if we don't know the title to which you refer.

Hi Ted,
Title: E-commerce Get It Right!
Even though Raylene has submitted it multiple times, still no joy. I'm basically attempting to find out where the issue lies. My guess is with Sony as there are hardly any books listed in my category but on all other ebook sites there are a tons of competing books.
So that is one good reason to get on the Sony Readerstore ASAP. Shame 10 months has slipped by without sales from Sony Readerstore though, missing sales is a cardinal sin. Plus my next title is out soon so I'd like to get a solution if you can help.
Thanks Ian

Your work seems to be everywhere, so I'm not sure what the problem is with Sony.
Ian, copy your correspondence with Raylene to Sony's ebook reader store and ask them, politely, why your work hasn't yet appeared. There is a contact page on the site with all the information you need.

Hi Ted,
What information are you getting back from Sony. Is the ePub file being rejected for some reason?
Problem. Plus I even downloaded the Sony Readerstore Desktop software to get more support contact leads in the US and UK.
Yesterday I contacted Sony US support and the only way for me to get hold of the US team was by live chat. I was transferred to 3 different departments and nobody could help. Their response was "we do not deal with self-publishers directly, there is no support help for that, go back to Smashwords".
So I then got in touch with the Sony UK support for the readerstore and they have said that the UK Sony Readerstrore was opened in April 2012 and again the do not deal with self-publishers directly, go back to Smashwords.
I'm lost, what now?
Thanks

Sounds like a treadmill. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so the only thing to do is to go back to Smashwords and tell them what Sony told you. It's summer and that means staff shuffling for holidays, so don't expect a reply right away.

Still no show, no response from support. Anyone else have the same experience?

I've given up on Sony. After a year, they still have only 15 of my 19 books. The sad thing is, the missing books are the first few in my series, which leaves a giant hole. Needless to say, I sell few books there because of it.
Yes, Smashwords has done all they can to help. At this point, I've become a nag on the subject, so I'm just going to let it slide.
