Hi fellow forumers. This concerns Kindle editions of your books. Readers can request personalized messages/signatures for their collection. I just added my nine books to the throng. www.kindlegraph.com

This is a cool idea. I had a little trouble understanding how it works until I found the link at the bottom of the page. The link takes you to a page which includes a good demo video. www.kindlegraph.com/about

There are 2 things holding me back right now. I don't own a kindle, so I can't input an email address in the kindlegraph profile page where I signed in as an author, and I don't have many of my ebooks on Amazon right now.
If the kindlegraph would allow input of an email address from other than amazon kindle then I'd find it useful as it appears to offer a nice benefit to readers at no cost to them.

Ted, I don't have a Kindle either. I just used one of my normal email addresses when I signed in as author. Readers find you on the site and make a request. Julie.

Thanks, Julie. When I signed in as author again it did popup an add a book page and a place for my email address.
When I first joined I didn't get that page and then found I needed a kindle email address for my Profile page. You're the best, Julie. Thanks again.

Aw gee, ta. Blush. That's cool - when I stumble upon gems like this I believe in sharing. Every little bit helps.

Julie, a friend of mine tried to get a kindlegraph of one of my ebooks but doesn't own a kindle and didn't have a Twitter account. She signed up for Twitter, went back to kindlegraph, chose the cover and clicked on request, but then was stymied because she didn't have a kindle email address. She was not a happy camper.
She put in another email and crossed her fingers. 2 hours and I've received no notice from kindlegraph of her request. Sheesh.

Kindlegraph is something anyone can easily do with 1), a drawing program that produces PDF output, and 2), an email address.
I may copy the idea and use my CorelDraw, which offers far more font choices and specialties like adding a heart or kiss should it be necessary. I'll advise visitors to my site they can use kindlegraph for some of my works or email me directly for any of my works and any special requests not available on kindlegraph.

Kindlegraph is obviously for people with Kindles and for most indie authors Amazon is #1 marketplace. Your idea is terrific, though. DIY. A bit of personalization in the digital age can go a long way, especially if it makes your reader feel special.

This is my version of a kindlegraph. The kindlegraph original was sent to a reader - pretty fast action seeing how I sent only a few emails to test interest in autographed covers. I changed the fonts and added a graphic for my example. I've now posted the original and my version on my blog, leaving visitors with the choice to use kindlegraph or contact me directly.
