If a book is listed as free at Smashwords and is in th epremium catalog, will it list for free at Barnes and Noble?
I recently put up two ebooks. I put them up at B&N before a did at Smashwords. They are free at Smashwords and at the minimum $.99 at B&N. So as not to confuse things, I opted out of B&N distribution at Smashwords.
I'm wondering if I delete them from my B&N Pubit account and then opt in to B&N distribution at Smashwords if they'll show up free there?
Thanks,
Bob

Also, do free books list on Baker & Taylor?
Thanks,
Bob

Pricing at Smashwords is fed to all retailers. There is a time-delay with some retailers updating their database to reflect changes. Mark is working on this matter to make it quicker.
Check with B&N's Terms of Service and see if they have a robot like Amazon has, one crawling the web looking for price differences. If so, then the bot should change the price on B&N sometime and you won't have to do a thing.
I don't know if free ebooks are listed on B&T. I don't think there is a way to check their site unless you are a library member. However, two of my free ebooks are available on blio.

Ted,
Thanks!
But just so I'm clear, a book listed as free at Smashwords that is sent to B&N will be listed as free there?

Yes. But it takes a few days. Mark is working on making the updates happen much faster.
