Here is a snippet of the email I received from Draft To Digital aka D2D:
We wanted to remind you, one more time, about Payoneer’s special offer of a $25 bonus for eligible new accounts!
Benefits of Payoneer:
Better rates. Compared to our other payment methods, Payoneer offers the lowest fees and the best conversion rates. In fact, when you sign up for Payoneer through Draft2Digital, your fee will be permanently reduced from the standard $3 fee to only $1!
Greater flexibility. Choose the payment options that work best for your author business, including either a Payoneer account or a Payoneer PrePaid Mastercard®
Faster payment. No waiting! Receive funds immediately, via your chosen payment method.
Now that you’re all set up, here’s how to redeem your $25 bonus!
Step 1 – Go to Edit Payment Method, under your D2D account, and under Payment Method select Payoneer
Step 2 – Sign up or link an existing Payoneer account between December 12th and January 10th
Step 3 – Earn a minimum of $200 in book royalties, from any of D2D’s sales channels, by March 10, 2018.
Step 4 – Get your $25 bonus, applied your to Payoneer account
Anytime I receive an offer to switch or try a different payment processor I get curious. I decided to see if there were any complaints against Payoneer.
With Zero (0) positive reviews, 1 neutral review and 12 negative reviews the Better Business Bureau gave it an A+. Hmmmm. www.bbb.org/new-york-city/business-reviews/financial-services/payoneer-inc-in-new-york-ny-91001
Business Ratings and Reviews site SiteJabber has 407 reviews; 60 are 5 star and 303 are 1 star.

The Complaint Board - www.complaintboard.com/payoneer-inc-l2125.html - has additional information useful to authors considering Payoneer as a payment processor.
I'm not saying PayPal is any better. PayPal has an enormous amount of complaints. I do feel authors should check out any business or legal entity promoted via email.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
