Please are you able to assist me with this software issue?
I am a smashwords author and I have published a large number of illustrated children's stories, that are free to download. However, just because they are free, I do want my readers to experience the very highest standard in professionalism as possible.
One of my readers recently wrote to me to tell me that she had downloaded all of the eBooks that had I written and that she enjoyed reading them a great deal. However, she added that two (out of the total of twenty-six free stories of mine) would not format properly on her device. She sent me two screen shots to show me what the issue was. I have created a Pinterest folder with these two screen shots within and I have enclosed the link below:

You will see that (in the bookshelf image on Pinterest) the first entry in her bookshelf is a story of mine: Alfred and the Broken Flute. You may note that the image of the book cover only covers one quarter of the book icon. The second image from this lady shows a typical page view when she tries to read my illustrated story. You will see that the picture only covers a small fraction of the reading screen.
I have tried to replicate the problem that this lady has experienced but, for me, both these files download with no issues. I see each page as a full page that covers the entire screen of my iPad, my iPhone, my iMac and my Windows laptop. It is very frustrating that I am unable to replicate the problem that this lady has experienced. It seems that this issue only appears on her android device. It does not appear on an iPad, an iPhone, an iMac or a Windows laptop.
This lady tells me that she is using a reader called 'Aldiko' on a Samsung Android device. The file that she is trying to view is an epub file. She has told me that she is able to read all my other books (apart from the two cases that she mentioned) with no problems and, if you look again at her bookshelf, you may see that there are many other stories of mine, that she has downloaded (as epub files) and these all appear to be formatted quite correctly. She also tells me that, when she switched to different reader software, the same problem occurred: the same two stories of mine appeared as a fraction of her device screen. This seems to imply that this issue is a consequence of the android device that she is using.
All these files are epub files and, as far as I am aware, I have created every eBook of mine (and uploaded them to smashwords) in the same way. I am confused as to why two of my eBooks appear in a quarter size on her device while the majority of the remaining eBooks appear with no problems.
Is there anyone who is able to give me any pointers as to how I should correct this issue for her?
Thank you very much in anticipation for any advice that you are able to offer.
