The two listed in the "Style Guide" are booked up. Any other suggestions? I thought I could format a simple Word2010 document myself, but it's above my pay grade.

More information needed.
Length of work, in words? Fiction or non-fiction? Simple formatting or complex formatting? Complex would have table or tables, pictures, weird fonts which won't work anywhere, etc.
Budget?

69,900 words, fiction. Very basic, straight text. Right now Word 2010 (saved as .doc). One picture at back of book (author's page). Budget? I'd like to keep it under $50. But I'd like to get it done in less than a week.

Have you followed the instructions in the Smashwords Style Guide?
Have you tried uploading .doc file to Smashwords and it was rejected?
If you tried uploading to Smashwords and it was rejected, what reason(s) were given?

All 140 pages of instructions? The part about indenting .01" AND .3"?
The error message says I have tabs (I don't know how many times I've cleaned the copy. Tabs are mysteriously appearing), and it says my ToC is formatted wrong.
To me, it's worth $40 to have someone else do the flipping formatting! If I don't have to wait until mid-May.

From what you've indicated is problematic with your ebook I'll pass on correcting formatting as it could take 2 to 3 hours or more to correct formatting and my time/experience is worth more than your $50.00 budget. Maybe some other member will help you.
