I read the guide. My file does not have any text boxes, headers, footers, auto-numbering, etc. But I still get the dreaded text box error. Why is it called that? Because you can't fix it, and the only alternative is the nuclear option? Is that really true?
I'm new to smashwords and this is ridiculous. Why do I have start from scratch and reformat my word doc? I already reformatted it once to make it epub compliant.
Does anyone have a possible fix that the guide does not mention?

Problem fixed! I turned on the codes so that I could see if anything strange was going on. I deleted several paragraph symbols and that fixed. it.

That's good news. Sure beats going the nuclear route. It pays to read the Style Guide doesn't it.
