I believe the affiliate program only pays for referrals directly to book pages. In other words, if you refer someone to a specific book and they buy it, you get the affiliate payment. If you refer them to the SW site, or to a sub-category of books on the SW site and they browse and chose a book to buy, no affiliate payment.
