The reports were updated on Smashwords a few days ago, and I was so upset to see Kobo had updated to July 31, and reported NO SALES. I KNOW that's a lie because 2 of the books listed there (and NOT the free ones) have had rankings since early July, one moved up several times before stopping and descending to where it is now. I don't know if movement means much on a slower site like KOBO, BUT I do know that the other books have NO ranking, so that seems to mean they haven't sold anything and the other 2 have!! I am livid.

I don't know if ALL sales reports were updated. I get the impression that sales for Barnes and Noble were updated on the 6th, but I see no evidence that any of the others were updated for my books on any of the other channels.
If you go to the "Sales and Payment Report" page and click on 2012, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, in the right hand column for Kobo does it say $0.00 or does it say "none"? $0.00 means they reported zero sales. "none" means that they have not reported sales yet.

Hi Nathan, it says None, but that's because all of my books were new there in June, so there have been no previous sales. I'm going by the fact that in the Retailer Sales Reported Through column it says July 31 for non-free titles in the KOBO column. It had said June 30 prior to last week, so it was updated.

I've about had it with Kobo, am considering removing permission from all my books for there. Now one of the 2 books that had sales is gone, the page says removed due to author request (or something like that)... no I didn't. I am also having to start seriously question all of Smashword's accounting, and since like any other distributor, it's pretty much impossible for a single author to prove or demand proof of sales records other than what is listed, I may just cut out all of my Smashwords titles and go back to full-on Amazon listing and preferred listings there. May as well.
