I'm re-posting this after I learned that attaching my question to another person's is a no no. Re: Children's Picture book that has no ToC. I'm getting errors but not from AutoVetter and I've purged the document and it looks fine in EPUB except it shows that it has no ToC. I read in Smashword Style Guide that if the Meatgrinder cannot build a two-item NCX it would create it. One to the first item and one to the middle. ? Should I make a link from the end of the book, "About the Author" to "Other Books by ...." that will be on the second inside page? I'm trying to find out what the problem is so I can correct it and have it pass. The below is the information I received. Thank you so much. Edith If you have any AutoVetter errors above, fix them now because they will delay or prevent distribution. If the errors relate to your book file, then click "upload new version" in your Dashboard to upload the new corrected version. --- Even if you have no AutoVetter errors, please inspect your EPUB version in Adobe Digital Editions (How to Download it: www.smashwords.com/about/supportfaq#readonPC). The EPUB is what we ship out to retailers. Look at the EPUB's formatting. Is the NCX file complete? The NCX is the table of contents that sits outside your EPUB on the left side of the Adobe Digital Editions screen. To learn more about the NCX (and see a good screenshot), see Step 20 in the Style Guide.---

Edith, my picture ebooks for children have a TOC which I build manually.
Try something like this: Table Of Contents Your ebook title Appendix (Or Biography, or something like those) Where to contact me. (Or some third item)
That would give you three links and probably work.
Hope this helps.
