Time and Productivity
I have been writing for about a week now.
On one hand, it feels good to be writing again. On the other hand, I am troubled by my level of productivity.
For example, today, I worked from 7-7 and adapted and made two recipes, posted the recipes and wrote two articles still in draft form.
I have no way to gauge my productivity. To me, it seems low. All day long, I keep thinking I would be done in an hour.
It was a day with few interruptions, kinda rare, so I expected more.
The other thing concerns me, it's not good for a writer's health to sit in front of a pc all day long.
I had set up a pc break/exercise routine but ignored it today because I thought I'd be done a whole lot sooner.
I am just passing these thoughts along because I think all writers struggle with the muse, time, interruptions, and health issues.
Love the home gym tips! Don't worry about whether you are doing too much or not enough. You will have your own level, not everyone's is the same.

I have an itch! Really annoying. Starts at the back of my mind and leaches forwards. At first I resist it, experience telling me what a load of work comes from scratching itches. But we all know what comes from resisting itches. It just has to be scratched and the story begins. My latest itch is just beginning but I know this journey well. I shall resist as long as possible (good for the fermentation process) before letting rip. Once started, I have no choice but to follow through. Pass the booze...!

Love the home gym tips! Don't worry about whether you are doing too much or not enough. You will have your own level, not everyone's is the same. I know what you mean. But, if I have one dominant personality trait, it is that I am tenacious and I want to know how much I can do. I mean I meet my goals and the goals of my past employers but I need another gauge of some kind.
Often, I have to deal with tech issues with my various devices. I don't factor that in to my idea of production yet sometimes I spend hours fixing problems or updating stuff.
I will give the concept more thought, thanks Chelsfield!
