Hello,
We are a small magazine. I had planned to use Amazon to sell our magazine. They want to take 70 percent of the sale price. I can't operate with a thirty percent royalty. I tried their creative space and that would be even worse, in some case netting negative income. I tried to convert my pdf to epub but the results are disastrous. Does anyone know where I can list this magazine in print and electronic format for a reasonable amount.? We're a start up and are in a bit of a spot. Any advice on where I can market this magazine and get it printed at a reasonable rate would be greatly appreciated. Any who helps us with a solution that pans out will get a free review of their book on my blog and I'll promote the hell out of you.
Sincerely,Michelle

Michelle, this forum is for authors with ebooks published on Smashwords and authors who have a work about to be published on Smashwords. Our forum isn't about how to run a business or start a business.
However, I did speak with an acquaintance about your problem. As you are just beginning the business and likely lack the capital to acquire a small printing business yourself it was suggested use of a local printer best place to start. Local is much better when issues arise, and there likely will be issues arise in the beginning. As for finding out about marketing your magazine it was suggested you discover how similar magazines market theirs. It is much easier to copy a wheel than create a new one.
I realize this is all pretty basic stuff which you likely already know. Good luck with your venture and please keep us in mind if/when you decide to use Smashwords to publish something.
