I have a question about the Smashwords Channel Manager. I am sorry if this has been asked before. Since I already sell my patterns at Kindle and B & N, I opted out for distribution at these places. Is this the correct thing to do?
Thanks.

Yes. If you already have accounts at other online retailers such as B&N or Amazon KDP you opt out of those on your Smashwords Channel Manager.
If you signed up with the Amazon KDP Select program you must remove your books from all other retailers. Read the Terms Of Service for the Amazon Select program before offering or displaying your works on other web sites. Some comments by others about the Select program feel the TOS won't allow you to sell your works on your own web site.

Thank you so much for your answer. I thought I was doing it right, just wanted to make sure. I decided not to be in the KDP select program because I was already having success with my patterns on craft related sites. I did not want to remove them from the other places I sell them.

I decided not to be in the KDP select program Once my books at Amazon are out of the KDP Select program, I will reformat everything and upload them to Smashwords as well. Amazon's terms are very restrictive. I think it might backfire on them in the end.
